In the apps
Your trailer reviews are pooled anonymously to find the best trailers across everyone — under a random id, never an account, a name, or a location. That id and your reviews follow you between your own devices through iCloud, which is Apple's and tells us nothing. Everything else you do stays on your device and is read by nothing else.
If you connect Letterboxd. Connecting Letterboxd reads that account's public diary. The username is stored on your device and used only for those requests.
If a source is down. When a film source is down, the app may be asked to check whether it can reach it, and reports which source and whether it could — nothing about you, and nothing about what you were looking at.
On the website
Nothing you do on trailertrash.app leaves your browser. There is no Letterboxd connection and nothing to review there, so none of the above applies.
