Terms of Use

Effective August 2026

Films, release dates and trailers come from the TMDB API. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Where to stream, rent or buy a film comes from JustWatch, through TMDB.

The apps and the website are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Don't abuse the service — scraping our API or interfering with its operation may get your access blocked. These terms may change as the product does; the current version always lives at this address.

In the apps

Other sources. Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic scores come from OMDb. If you connect a Letterboxd account, your ratings and the films you've seen come from your public diary there. Letterboxd is a trademark of its owner; Trailer Trash is not affiliated with Letterboxd.

On the website

The website is free, and there is nothing to sign up for — no account, no subscription. It draws on TMDB and nothing else: the scores and Letterboxd connection above are app features and are not on the web today.
